The Himalayas of treasure shop was founded in 2006 by Tenzin, a former Buddhist monk, whose wish was to discover its culture and create a bond of friendship and sharing between the Himalayas and the West and help the many Tibetan refugees in Nepal and India, whose craft was the only source of income

Our products are mainly manufactured in Nepal but also India and Tibet by craftsmen and skilled Tibetan artists in very specific areas: Woodworking, bronze, paintings, jewelry, textiles, etc. They ... are the guardians of an ancient tradition and a know-how that would otherwise disappear louse. All the work of these men and women respects traditional forms related to Tibetan and Buddhist culture.

For certain products (as incense), these are families that we work to help them develop a small trade essential to their existence. We are familiar with our suppliers we work with for years.
